Discovering the joy of play
Center-Based Autism Therapy
Where Children Learn Peer-to-Peer
Our Learning Centers let children interact with peers in a learning-rich space while receiving personalized support.
We boost your child’s opportunities for learning by working one-to-one and allowing group socialization.
Our Learning Centers teach more than academics. We help kids gain social skills and confidence. Many of our Learning Centers include sensory gyms, group learning areas, and pretend-play spaces.
Tailored for contemporary ABA, these playful environments make learning enjoyable, paving the way for success in school and life.
Making friends can be tough for anyone, especially for kids with autism or other special needs.
You might notice that your child develops and communicates differently, and that’s OK.
At Tandem Therapy Services, we know how important friendships and socializing are in school and the community. So, how do we help kids with autism make friends? We focus on their strengths and create strategies for success. We teach the basics of friendship — like communication, teamwork, and kindness.
We also help with other areas — like handling sensory processing and communication challenges. Our Learning Centers offer a secure place for kids to improve their social skills and emotional growth.
Our skilled board certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) and behavior technicians (BTs) provide modern ABA therapy that’s enjoyable and engaging.
With group activities and imaginative play, we help children enhance their language and communication abilities, grow social and play skills, adapt to new routines, and form friendships.
Center-based therapy follows these core principles:
Children flourish in a nurturing, learning-focused environment. That’s the framework for our Learning Center model.
Children learn best through structured teaching and play. We offer individual and small group instruction.
Every child is unique and at a different developmental stage. We create developmentally appropriate and personalized programs for each child.
All interventions are evidence-based. Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is at the core of what we do, and it’s backed by clinical guidance and scientific research.
We prioritize family involvement. Parents, families, and caregivers actively participate in planning their child’s treatment, empowering them to navigate life on the spectrum.
Receiving an autism diagnosis can be overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. At Tandem, we’re here to support you. No matter where you are on your journey, let us provide the services and resources we have available. We’ve helped thousands of families find their next steps and are committed to delivering the highest quality service to help each child achieve their goals.
